Anthony Mackie Wants a Falcon and Black Widow Avengers Spinoff

Anthony Mackie: Anthony Mackie teased Marvel fans by saying he had love to look at a Marvel Studios series involving Sam Wilson/ Falcon and Natasha Romanov/ Black Widow.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier star Anthony Mackie view up his thoughts on a Marvel Studios offshoot series, featuring the likes of Sam Wilson/ Falcon and Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanov/ Black Widow ongoing Avengers-like quests.

Mackie suggests the unofficial offshoot in a new interview about his upcoming Disney+ series, saying Deadline that Sam owes Natasha greatly for banging on his door when she and Captain America needed help in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Mackie before spoke about the chemistry between Falcon and Black Widow during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2017. And when I meet her … Our first scene we shot altogether, she was like “Hey Falcon.” Metro

“And I went, ‘Oh, oh, hey Widow.’ And so then, I was like, ‘I get it. Black Widow and Falcon were dating, “Mackie continued. “That’s why she’s trying to give Cap to her friends, ‘So if you watch the movie, and watch it real close you will see the love fling that we have for each other. It was intense.”

While Johansson will iteration her role in Black Widow, which is out May 7th, Fans will be recalled that the character died at the end of Avengers Endgame. As such, a potential offshoot involving the femme fatale heroine and Falcon would have taken place prior to the Endgame events.

In the meantime, fans will have to accept the offshoot series centered on the romancer between Sam and Bucky Barnes, aka The Winter Soldier. An official brief for Season 1 of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier reads,

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Sam Wilson/ Falcon and Bucky Barnes groups up in a global adventure that tests their abilities- and their patience- in Marvel Studios and The Winter Soldier.
