Netflix’s Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness Anime Reveals Story & Poster

Published by

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness Updates: Netflix’s CG anime series has now released the Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness synopsis.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is all set, a few years after the events of Resident Evil 4, and will star Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. Netflix has revealed that the series will bring back the voice of the actors Nick Apostolides as Leon and Stephanie Panisello as Claire, the same as the roles they played in 2019’s Resident Evil 2 Remake.

The synopsis states: In 2006, traces of unauthorized access were found in top-secret files under the presidential jurisdiction in the White House which is considered to be a symbol of the United States.

US agents, Leon S. Kennedy, and others summoned for the investigation.  Unidentified zombies were encountered in the sudden power outage of the White House and they were controlled with SWAT.

Meanwhile, Terrasave’s employee Claire Redfield on his visit to help refugees stumbled across a peculiar painting made by a boy with aphasia. Claire pursues her own investigation. She was precipitated by the picture that seems to have portrayed a virus-infected person.

Claire then visits the White House to petition for the construction of a welfare facility there she finds Leon who happens to meet her again and shows her the boy’s painting.

Leon perceived that there is something interlinked between the White House zombie incident and the strange painting. But Leon is seen leaving the scene saying that it has nothing to do with Claire. The two zombie eruptions that took place in distant countries eventually kept the nation at stake.

Rather than revisiting a story from another game or movie in the series, Infinite Darkness will tell its own story with the two treasured characters.

So stay tuned for more exciting information about the first of two Resident Evil shows coming to Netflix. Check out the new poster for the Resident Evil anime series below.
