Vikings Season 6: Latest Update & Production Detail

Vikings Season 6 Update: The second half of Vikings season six is available on History and Amazon Prime Video, so the final season was full of surprises. Fans had been waiting to learn the fate of fan-favorite character Floki (played by Gustaf Skarsgard) and were relieved to learn that he was still alive.

In Vikings, how did Floki and another meet?

Checking to see if Floki was still alive was one of the most eagerly awaited moments of Vikings’ final season. Along with Kjetill Flatnose, a friend of Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) traveled to Iceland to establish a replacement settlement (Adam Copeland).

Things didn’t go as planned since Flatnose didn’t recognize Floki’s suggestions as real, and they ended up breaking up. Floki, heartbroken, fled the village and entered a cave, where he discovered an oversized crucifix. The cave then caved in on him, leaving viewers to doubt if he was dead or alive.

Vikings Season 6 Part 2

On his search for the Golden Land, Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith) tried to track down Floki.

He encountered the enigmatic wanderer Other, who revealed that he had seen Floki before he disappeared. Since he was in possession of Floki’s jewels, Ubbe became wary of Other and accused him of having anything to do with his death. The other was under the assumption that Floki was gone, and he didn’t say anything about how the two had met. At the end of the season, when Floki was reunited with Ubbe, he recalled Other and gave him a concerned glance.

Others have questioned whether the concept is realistic, with ReeferRivas commenting, “Wow. I’d been curious for MONTHS how the cross ended up in the tunnel. This is absolutely rational. “I’ve looked at a lot of sites trying to figure out what the cross meant. This is absolutely rational. I like the theory that Other and Floki were in the same location when the cave-in occurred, which is why the cross was there and why they seemed to know each other so well.” One thing they asked was whether Floki and Other had left Iceland together, as he had told Ubbe that he thought Kjetill had murdered the boat builder.
