Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 Director Cried A Lot While Writing Script

Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 Updates: James Gunn, the writer, and director of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 admit that he cried a lot while writing the script for the Marvel Studios threequel.

The third Marvel Studios film has been delayed for a long time due to a number of factors, including the firing and subsequent rehiring of its director and writer. As a result, Gunn was hired by Warner Bros. to direct The Suicide Squad, a film set in the DC Extended Universe.

Gunn, on the other hand, had already worked on the script for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, so he’s been aware of what’s in store for everyone’s favorite cosmic team for quite some time. So far, not much is known about the plot of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but there have been hints as to what to expect.

The burgeoning mystery of where 2014 Gamora went after Thanos’ defeat in Avengers: Endgame will almost certainly be a focal point of the story, not to mention the eagerly anticipated look into Rocket’s origins.

Given the Guardians of the Galaxy’s involvement in Thor: Love and Thunder, there’s also a chance Thor will appear in the film. Whatever the case may be, based on Gunn’s recent comments, the film appears to be an emotional roller coaster.

When asked on Twitter by a fan how much the public would weep while watching Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Gunn said he doesn’t know. He did, however, say that he cried a lot while writing the threequel’s plot.

Check out the rest of his exchange below Before Gunn‘s firing, it was widely assumed that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 would usher in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This makes sense, given that the threequel is expected to answer the question of what happened to Gamora.

Star-Lord and his team claimed to have set out to find her with the God of Thunder by the end of Avengers: Endgame, but depending on where the film falls in the MCU’s timeline, they may be diverted by Thor’s current quest in Love and Thunder.

Most of the Guardians of the Galaxy are still with Thor in new set images from Taika Waititi’s film, including Kraglin, who now wields Yondu’s fin.
