Batwoman Season 2 Updates: There’s no new episode of Batwoman releasing in the week, though the show is scheduled to return just in time for Valentine’s Day on Sunday, February 14th.

The brief hiatus is thanks to the show’s normal timeslot being set against Super Bowl LV. it’s common for popular television series which normally premiere on Sunday nights within us to require an opportunity during the week of Super Bowl Sunday.

The annual sporting event is one of the more important nights of television of the year and there are few networks bold enough to gamble on viewers skipping the large Game in favor of another show.

Both Supergirl and Batwoman took a week’s hiatus in 2020 for this reason, despite this leaving a niche between the shows’ returns and their first new episodes following Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Batwoman Season 2 will return on Sunday, February 14th, with a replacement episode titled “Fair Skin, Blue Eyes.” A synopsis for the episode revealed that the action will largely focus on Ryan Wilder and her efforts to prevent the mask Society and their trade of a replacement psychoactive drug called Snakebite.

The synopsis also spoke of some unlikely alliances within the wake of the news that Kate Kane is alive, which seem to change state out by a preview picture of Alice and Sophie Moore working together.

Thankfully, fans of the Arrowverse won’t need to wait until the return of Batwoman for more superheroic adventures. The season premiere of Black Lightning is scheduled to air on the Monday night after the Super Bowl, beginning its fourth and final season.

The highly anticipated Superman and Lois Arrowverse series also will premiere later this month on Tuesday, February 23, during a special 90-minute pilot.
