From all the past memories of Wanda’s Sokovian young age with Pietro, and her times with the Avengers, also her return in the time before the Avengers: Endgame, the devious witch Kathrun Hahn finally get to know what will make Wanda tick.

As per the comics, the first introduction of Scarlet Witch is a mutant, who is born with supernatural powers and as the disguised daughter of Magneto. This makes sense that Wanda is normal as like any other character in the series of X-Men. With the return of Professor X with the gang to Marvel, it makes sense to expect WandaVision to make the Scarlet Witch backstory to be more authentic.

It is also suspected by many that Wanda can be retconned to the first-ever mutant of the franchise, instead, the 8th episode rules the X-planation out completely.

Instead of being a mutant Wanda is a witch but this does not mean that she is not special as the WandaVision proves her more special before her being supercharged by the Mind Stone.

In episode 8 it reveals that Scarlet Witch’s power is not only because of the Mind Stone but is something related to her birth, where she is born with the potential of Magic.

In a blast that kills her parents, she is one survival but also stops from Stark’s bomb to explode. From this we can clearly depict her powers and these are enough to conclude that she has magical powers. It is also believed that these powers would be forgotten by Wanda if they are not nurtured.
