WandaVision Wanda’s Magic Could Replace Ms Marvel’s Power Origin In The MCU

WandaVision Episode 8 Updates: WandaVision’s Episode 4 dumped several surprises on its viewers, but it may also have slipped into a sly substitute for the DNA-altering Terrigen Mists in the MCU that gave Ms. Marvel in the comics her powers.

So far, with its off-the-wall story framing, the show has compelled and eluded viewers, opening the series by masquerading as an idyllic 50’s sitcom starring Scarlet Witch and The Vision.

However, when dark powers and Wanda’s own possibly deteriorating emotional health attempt to collapse the fantasy world in which she finds herself living, all is clearly not as it seems.

We Disturb This Program, the most recent series, broke up the momentum of the sitcom-style plotting of the show to take us back into the real world, allowing us a peek behind the curtain.

It is discovered that the town of Westview, where Wanda’s bizarre world is taking place, is simply a real city that, along with the residents inside, has been drawn into her machinations.

Worse than that, her reality-warping even affects residents beyond Westview, demonstrated by the fact that people can not even comprehend the town on the periphery of her power.

All About WandaVision Episode 8

One of the most subtle discoveries is that Wanda’s powers send off a low-level radioactive signature known as cosmic microwave background radiation, among the many topics that Episode 4 touched on.

While it was an obvious reference to be overlooked, the ramifications thereof may have massive implications on the MCU and even drive them farther away from the Inhumans’ planet.

In brief, a revolutionary way to inspire a whole new generation of superheroes, including Phase 4 newcomer Ms. Marvel, may have only been launched by WandaVision, replacing her Terrigenesis origin with an identical yet crucially different rationale.

In two separate MCU products, the Terrigen Mists appeared: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and its short-lived spin-off series, Inhumans.

It seems as though the MCU is gearing up to use cosmic radiation as a supplement for the mutagenic properties of the Terrigen Mists, with CMBR now possessing a basis for awakening dormant genetic powers, which may explain why Ms. Marvel is coming to Phase 4 after WandaVision.

CMBR could only be the medium by which audiences are exposed to characters such as the Fantastic Four and the X-Men with a whole new step on the horizon, ensuring that WandaVision continues to be relevant in tremendous ways beyond just its two core characters.
