Keeping Faith Series 3 Updates: Holding Confidence will return, the BBC has announced, for a third and final season. Keeping Faith/Un Bore Mercher, filmed in English and Welsh, follows Faith’s lawyer, wife, and mother who tries to discover the reality behind her husband’s abrupt disappearance.

Season 3 was shot in 2020 and is now making the way to television – here’s what you need to see…

Will it be the final season of Keeping Faith Series 3?

Keeping Faith’s Series 3 is reportedly set to air on TV on BBC One Wales in February 2021 and will be available exclusively on BBC iPlayer across the UK. It is important to confirm the correct release date.

Series 3 will see Eve Myles return as Faith Howells, Evan Howells as Bradley Freegard, and Steve Baldini as Mark Lewis Jones.

The cast will be joined by Olivier award-winning Celia Imrie (Victoria Wood as Shown on TV, Dinnerladies, Best Exotic Marigold Hotel).

As for what season 3 has in store, a brief teaser reads: “It’s been 18 months since we last saw life in Abercorran, and the divorce and custody battle between Faith and Evan is going from bad to worse.”

When Faith juggles being a mother and a lawyer, she attempts to be hopeful. Then something from her life returns and endangers her happier future.

Nick Andrews, CEO of the BBC Cymru Wales Serie 3, said: “Keeping Faith is a great event and I’m glad it is returning for a third season. A record-breaker on iPlayer, it has fans and is characteristic of the high-quality drama that people around the UK are currently produced in Wales.”

Looking ahead, there is no indication that the speed of great Wales will drop.

Amanda Rees, S4C Content Director, added: S4C is delighted to see Un Bore Mercher back in 2020. Award-winning mystery, situated in the heart of one of Wales’ most stunning sceneries, has raised a profile of the Welsh drama in the world, as one of S4C’s originals.
