Notorious B.I.G. Updates: Biggie: I got a story to share, executive produced by Voletta Wallace and Sean Combs, hits streaming platform on March 1st. Four years in the making, Netflix shared the trailer for Biggie: I have a story to tell, the first documentary on the Infamous B.I.G.

The popular rapper’s mother Voletta Wallace and close partner Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs are executive producers of the documentary, all offering intimate interviews for the movie. The film airs on the streaming platform on the 1st of this March.

I have a story to share that was first announced in 2017, but only recently (with the title One More Chance). In a statement to Rolling Stone, director Emmett Malloy said, “The joke for documentaries is often how long it takes to make.

This film has lived up to all these expectations, taking us four years to develop and produce it,” “It’s easy to see how much Brooklyn has changed since Christopher Wallace was a child, but it’s still obvious that many aspects about being a young black man in this country haven’t changed.”

Former owner of Infamous B.I.G. and new estate manager, Wayne Barrow, also works as a film producer.

“Mama Wallace and I had a discussion about developing the first Estate-sanctioned documentary about BIG’s life, and the original assumption was to tell the story from the perspective of his fans around the world and how they were motivated by him and his music,” Barrow said in a statement.

Notorious B.I.G. Trailer

The story of Notorious B.I.G. has been told several times, but with one note, and we thought it was important to dive into the mind of Christopher Wallace, to tap into the forces of his life as a young man who influenced his imagination, his ability to stimulate and elicit emotion with his visually engaging wordplay and flow in a way that was genuine and convincing.

Any of the early video clips I have a story to share come from archives and interviews with the childhood friend of the musician, Damian “D Roc” Butler. Big has always been a visionary.

Brooklyn is never going to have such an insane experience as the ’80s and’ 90s, out of great poverty, great fashion, and music.D Roc said in a comment to Rolling Stone, noting that with the documentary, ” D Roc said in a comment to Rolling Stone, noting that with the documentary, ” the Brooklyn boy raping today is not going to get the same experiences we have to tell.

With Puff Daddy paying homage to the rapper during the virtual ceremony, the Notorious B.I.G. was admitted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in November 2020.

“Made in cooperation with Biggie’s estate, I Got A Story To Tell is the intimate interpretation of a man whose swift rise and the tragic end has been at the forefront of rap mythology for more than 20 years.

This personal documentary includes exclusive videos captured by his best friend Damion ‘D-Roc’ Butler and fresh interviews with his closest friends and colleagues, showing the identity of Christopher Wallace that the world has never seen.”
