Marvel boss addresses possible Star Wars and MCU crossover

Star Wars: Kevin Feige, the top dog in Marvel Studios, spilled cold water on a future crossover between Disney’s Star Wars and MCU assets.

Back in September 2019, the news broke from a superheroic loyalty change to a far, far-flung galaxy, reporting that Feige was creating a “new era” of the story of Star Wars along with Kathleen Kennedy of Lucasfilm.

Unfortunately, Feige does not intend to tie the two worlds together for a particular project, for fans of audacious concepts.

What Kevin Feige has to say about Star Wars and MCU crossover?

In an interview with Yahoo! Entertainment, he said, “If you’d ask me if something we’re talking about right now was in the realm of possibility 20 years ago, I’d say, ‘I don’t think so.’

“But I don’t think so, really. I don’t believe there’s any justification for that,” he said.

There’s a ping-pong game between Yoda and Spider-Man that we were waiting to see…

Later in the interview, Feige also guided viewers to the Marvel / Star Wars mashup, already available in a Season 5 episode of Parks and Recreation, courtesy of Garth Blundin (Patton Oswalt).

Garth expresses his opinion of the future show during the show: Episode VII — The Force Awakens, with cameos from Fantastic Four, X-Men, Thanos, Spider-Man, and Tony Stark shared that he’d like to see, connecting all film worlds to one another.

“That is probably as close as we’ll ever get,” Feige said.

Star Wars: Skywalker’s rise and Skywalker’s whole story are now available on DVDs, Blu-rays, and 4K, as well as Disney+. Skywalker’s rise is now on Sky Cinema Premiere and NOW Cable.

Avengers: Endgame is now available on DVD, Blu-ray, 3D, 4K, and digital downloads.
