Thor 4 Set Photos Tease God of Thunder’s Goats From Comics

Thor 4 Updates: Fresh images from the Australian Thor: Love and Thunder suggest the arrival of Thor’s favorite goats from the comics.

Set images have leaked as construction on Thor 4 ramps up, giving fans an idea of what they should expect from the enigmatic film. You can catch a hint of Thor’s latest dress in some of the pictures, as can Hemsworth and Pratt of Chris.

Karen Gillan as Nebula is also seen on set. Taika Waititi’s Helmed, who also directed Thor: Ragnarok, Thor: Love and Thunder, takes the vast cast together. Onboard are most, if not all, of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Natalie Portman returns as Jane Foster, too, and the movie will see her becoming the Mighty Thor. Tessa Thomspon will be returning as Valkyrie and they will all have to face off against Gorr the God Butcher, Christian Bale’s villain.

In a mystery role, Matt Damon was also selected, rounding out the new outsize cast for one of the most awaited Phase 4 films from Marvel. It’s a fresh addition to the ensemble that has piqued audience attention, seen in some of the set pictures.

Fans are now parsing through them again, originally ignored when the set pictures leaked, and have found another cast member who has not been revealed yet.

Onset (via Marvel Studios Movies), a goat was seen and fans joined the dots and realized that this could mean the appearance of a few mythical creatures in Thor’s universe.

Although unconfirmed, none other than Thor’s strong furry mates, Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder, maybe the goats on set. Thor: Love and Thunder will be taken from the Mighty Thor comic arc, which sees the arrival of Jane Foster as a superhero.

It also sees the resemblance of Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder, two legendary beings that Thor can summon in a time of need, including Mjolnir. They also have their own abilities, including the ability to fly and drag behind them a chariot that Thor would then use for transport.

They also have super strength and the ability to fly at fast speeds across the Ten Realms, making them great companions. How the goats are going to figure into Thor’s plot: Love and Thunder, if at all, remain to be seen.

Under the direction of Waititi, however, they will be the right match for Thor’s universe that Waititi introduced in his previous Thor film. In Phase 4, the strange and wild Thor: Ragnarok made Thor: Love and Thunder one of the most surprisingly awaited Marvel movies, long before the two strong goats could be seen.

It may only be a coincidence, or perhaps a subtle homage to the comics, but it also blends into the franchise vision of Waititi, and hopefully, when the film is released in 2022, we’ll get to see some goat action.
