According to the fan translations, she gestures to someone she claims is “not a bad guy.” This has led to rumors that Asta’s mother might have had a close friendship with the Anti-Magic Demon.
As for preparation, Nacht says that Asta has to defeat the Anti-Magic Devil, or else he’d take over his body. “Black Clover” chapter 267 will show more about the devil, including Asta’s observation that it is indeed a “shorty” like him. At one point, the devil tries to summon the blade of the Demon Slayer.
The big surprise emerges from Asta’s own realization: the Anti-Magic Demon has no intention of killing him. It seems to link well with the possibility that the devil had a successful relationship with Asta’s mother. Unfortunately, though, the essence of their friendship is not disclosed.
