Family Guy: What Your Favorite Character Says About You

Family Guy Updates: Your favorite Family Guy character tells a lot about you, whether you love Peter Griffin or can’t get enough of Glenn Quagmire!

Family Guy proved to be a genuinely outstanding film, enduring the test of time and lasting on tv for almost two full decades (not to mention getting canceled and brought back from the dead).

Joe Swanson

Over the span of the show’s 20 seasons, there may not be a long-list of Joe-centric shows, but he’s sure to be good for a few laughs when Peter’s handicapable neighbor emerges.

Bear in mind, this is an obscene sitcom, so the show definitely has a few digs in about the failure of Joe to walk, but Joe is a buff/fit police officer’s counter-contrast gives the show a good give-and-take balance.

So, if Joe happens to be your favorite character, it’s very likely that you’re a completely competent person: at your career, at making jokes about you, at life in general, at being a good father/husband/friend. Keep up with it, Joes.

Cleveland Brown

As he left the show for 4 years (to lead his own spinoff) and then returned with the new family he had formed, Cleveland’s story is definitely a meandering one.

That said, Cleveland has always remained the same lovable, teddy-bear despite its roundabout path that viewers were introduced to in season 1.

If Cleveland is the character who gives you the most pleasure, you might be a person who doesn’t feel the need to be bound to any single spot, exploring everywhere you can and looking for family/friends. You always find your way back to your true home, but make no mistake.

Brian Griffin

If Cleveland is the character who gives you the greatest joy, you might be a person who does not feel the need to be tied to any particular place, explore anywhere you can, and search for family/friends. You always find a way back to your real home but do not make a mistake.

It’s extremely conceivable that you’re a guy who is still a game for some sort of adventure with Brian being your favorite character-you just may not be the person most of the time leading such adventures.

Meg Griffin

Just shut up, Meg. But seriously, for obviously no other reason than in a cartoon sitcom, Meg is the character (even more so than Chris) who gets abused the most by her family.

Although the rest of the family does their hardest to treat Meg as a human in a few scenes, their efforts nearly always fall short.

Hopefully, if Meg happens to be your favorite character, it’s purely for comic reasons and because you realize that no average family can treat their daughter/sister the way the Griffins treat Meg—or, maybe, you’re a person who’s secretly as tough as Meg and can take dirt from everyone in your life (but we hope it’s the former and not the latter).

Stewie Griffin

The most famous character in the show is arguably Stewie Griffin – the methodical mastermind who is easily the smartest member of his family at the age of 1. Stewie has had multiple episodes that have attempted to ruin the whole Family Guy world, steadily bringing himself (and Brian) into trouble because of his inventions, while ironically being the character who kept the show together with the longest.

If your favorite character happens to be the genius-baby, then you could be a guy who is slightly too clever for his own good, sometimes causing more damage than you fix, and not understanding that you are the person to blame.

That said, in nature, the issues you might probably generate are often fascinating and adventurous, so it always evens out.
