This is the explanation for the entire series: “Among mates, the greatest love story of all may be. They couldn’t be more different as the unlikely couple Tully (Katherine Heigl) and Kate (Sarah Chalke) meet at the age of fourteen.

You can’t forget Tully as the brash and confident girl, while Kate is the mousy, reserved girl you never note. Yet they are united for good as a disaster takes them together, forever inseparable best friends.

They experience thirty years of ups and downs together, triumphs and disappointments, heartbreak and pleasure, and a triangle of passion that strains their relationship. One goes on to fabulous riches and fame, the other prefers marriage and motherhood, but their bond persists over the decades before it meets the ultimate test.”

The series also stars Ali Skovbye as Young Tully and Roan Curtis as Young Kate, as well as Ben Lawson, Beau Garrett, and Yael Yurman, in addition to Heigl and Chalke.

Maggie Friedman is the producer and showrunner of the sitcom “Witches of East End,” executive producing with Heigl, Stephanie Germain, Shawn Williamson, Lee Rose, and director Peter O’Fallon. Alongside Ilene Rosenzweig and John Sacret Young, Hannah is co-executive producer of the season, with Aaron Au acting as producer.
