MCU Phase 4 and the possibility of a Team Red movie

Considering the rumors are pouring in about MCU Phase 4, it is but obvious for everyone to think of the possibility for a Team Red movie from the comics to happen. Though it is not an officially named team in the Marvel world, Spider-Man, Deadpool, and Daredevil have teamed up so many times that fans have fondly given them the title for their shared red costume color scheme.

For a long time now, it has become a dream for the fans to see Team Red team up for a live-action. But due to the different productions, there has been some conflict or the other always. With so much going on between Sony, Century- Fox, Marvel, and Marvel Netflix universe, it would have been quite complicated and next to impossible to see them team-up.

However, with the change in logistical and legal events in the last few years, there seems to be a ray of hope for the fans to see their dream come true. Rumors have it that Charlie Cox will be performing his role of Daredevil in Spider-Man 3.  Though there hasn’t been any official announcement from Marvel, after witnessing their “anything’s possible” attitude during WandaVision‘s release, we are hoping to be correct this time to expect the trio together on screen this time.

The possibilities are quite a few in which the team-up could happen but it seems a little unlikely for Spider-Man 3 to be a pure Team Red movie. As Spider-Man actors, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire are to be reprising their respective Spider-Men roles, and the villains already confirmed, it is more possible that Cox would be appearing as a cameo in the movie. Deadpool 3 could be a better option instead.

Deadpool, Daredevil, and Spider-Man in MCU Phase 4

All things said it would be really marvelous to see if marvel somehow manages to make a Team Red movie. Their wildly different personalities making them endearingly dysfunctional is what makes them so beloved in the comics. The motormouth Deadpool verbally overrunning Spider-Man, creating a constant scrabble with poor Daredevil stuck in between as the team dad. However, a live-action would be difficult to pull off because of the contrasting tones of the franchises.

Still, if there’s any studio that can ever fit together the friendly Spider-Man, the Merc with a Mouth, and the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen into the same frame, then it is undoubtedly MARVEL.
