I Care A Lot: Rosamund Pike Back As Marla Grayson in Netflix Trailer

I Care A Lot Updates: Netflix India released the trailer on social media on 19th January,21 showcasing Oscar-nominee Rosamund Pike in her cool avatar as Amy Dunne in Netflix’s I Care a Lot.

She plays the role of a pompous con artist who dupes elders while disguised as a caring person. The film directed and written by J Blakeson is all set to release on the 19th of February,21 on the streamlining platform.

Captioning the trailer as “Marla Grayson trying to scam Chachi 420 is a crossover we all need and deserve”, Netflix India has taken the excitement of the fans to a roaring high and in return of which they have spilled their excitement in the comments sections.

A fan wrote, “ “Crossover we all needed to be glad”, while another commented, “What an Amazing combo Amy and Tyrion Lannister!” Some other fan spilled, “It is going to be on my watch-list, Excited!!”

The trailer was also shared on Twitter, which said ‘twisted satire about wealth, opportunity, and swimming with sharks’ release in February.

Others starring in the dark comedy are Dianne Wiest, Chris Messina, Peter Dinklage, Eiza Gonzales, Macon Blair, Alicia Witt, Damian Young, and Isiah Whitlock Junior. Last fall, the film was also premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival where Netflix acquired the show.  And now we are all excited to see  Rosamund Pike, as a professional guardian for dozens of elderly wards, whose assets she seizes through dubious but also legal means.

Jennifer who is a wealthy retiree with no family or relatives becomes the target of  Marla and her lover Fran but their strategies go to vain when she realizes that the old lady has her own equally shady secrets while also having links with a gangster(played by Peter Dinklage).

Before this, Rosamund Pike was last seen in a film called Radioactive, which was a biographical drama film. The Director of the movie was Marjane Satrapi and Rosamund played Marie Curie, the scientist. The film was released by Amazon Studios on Prime Video due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
