Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 16: Update

Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 16

At the end of the episode, it seemed like Todo was ready to be more serious about his task. He seems resilient about killing Itadori and fulfilling the wishes of his principal.

Those really entwined in this storyline, will have to wait until episode 17 to see any actual fight. This episode was all about Panda and Mechamaru.

Both Mechamaru and Panda used corpse techniques in the fight. In the course of the fight, we finally find out what made Panda like that. His true form is revealed to the audience. If it is anything, it is breathtaking.

Panda goes through the fight in a smart and calculative manner while Mechamaru’s approach seems rather impulsive in comparison. Panda is revealed to have three cores. This he uses to his advantage by displaying false subservience and defeat to Mechamaru. He lets Mechamaru attack him only to later use it against him.

From the start, Mechamaru had all his cards on the table whereas Panda was wise not to reveal all his moves. He showed his strength slowly. He used Mechamaru’s techniques against him and eventually won the fight.

We are looking forward to the next episode to see what transpires between Todo and Itadori. Will Todo be successful in his talk or will all his efforts go to waste?

Audiences can watch the anime on Crunchyroll. The dubbed English version is not yet available.
