Tom Hardy’s Taboo Season 2 to Return on BBC

Taboo Season 2 Updates: Taboo, produced by Scott Free London and Hardy Son & Baker, is a BBC television drama series. It screened on BBC One in the United Kingdom on 7 January 2017 as well as on 10 January 2017 on FX in the United States.

Steven Knight told Collider that,” Even though we all stick with it and we would all like to keep doing it, it will also be three [seasons]”.

This is my plan. Since I have to take a geographical kind of route for that thing. Basically, it’s a journey west. I have a target in mind, which is always good to have whenever you head out on this huge trip, and that is what three eight-hours of writing is all about. It’s great to know where you are going.

The show’s first season received favorable feedback. Everything just maintains a ranking of 77 percent at Rotten Tomatoes, the feedback aggregation site.

It reads the consensus. “Taboo comes to the fore after a sluggish beginning as just a strange, dark, and most often brutal period drama that has plenty of potential as a series, most notably noticeable in the exceptionally enjoyable to watch the performance of Tom Hardy.”

Tom Hardy also collaborated with Steven Knight on Locke’s 2013 film. In season 4, he also appeared on the show along with his other show, Peak Blinders.
