NCIS LA Season 12 Updates: Daniela Ruah has been an NCIS mainstay: from the very beginning of the CBS soap, LA cast for her depiction of Kensi Blye.
With the show now in its 12th season, though, Ruah is taking on an all-new role behind the camera when she first tackles directing. Now, behind the scenes of her directorial debut, the actress has posted a first-look – and it’s fair to say fans couldn’t be more pleased.
The news that Ruah will go behind the camera in NCIS: late last year, LA season 12 was revealed and the actress made no secret of her joy at landing the chance.
In December, Ruah posted a throwback snap of her chatting to one of the show’s directors on her Instagram profile. She captioned the photo that Little did I know in 2014 when this picture was taken, that my passion for acting would also leak into the world of directing.
Ruah added I had no faith in my abilities to even try. But over the last few years, something has changed in me, and I’m glad to share with all of you that this season I’ll be directing episode 11!.
Several of Ruah’s NCIS: At the time, LA co-stars posted their support messages and now it looks like the time has come to lead the way for the Kensi Blye star. Ruah showed a sneak look behind the scenes of her debut again on her Instagram profile complete with her own director’s chair.
Ruah also posted a short clip from behind the scenes on her Instagram Accounts, providing a special glimpse into the upcoming episode to her 1.1 million followers. Needless to mention, with their words of enthusiasm and to congratulate the actor, thousands of Ruah’s fans weighed in.
