WandaVision Season 2: Writer Won’t Confirm or Deny Season 2

Published by

WandaVision Season 2 Updates: Jac Schaeffer, the WandaVision head writer, is hesitant to confirm or refute the prospect of season 2. Earlier this month, WandaVision debuted and currently has three episodes ready to watch on Disney+.

The show starts up right after Avengers: Endgame and discusses Wanda and Vision’s friendship as they move between classic TV sitcoms.

WandaVision is the first season in Phase 4 of the MCU, which will consist of small screen displays as well as theatrical releases.

Although the show takes place after Avengers: Endgame, considering Vision’s horrific death in Avengers: Infinity War, Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) are both seen alive and well.

The show has a happy comedy style, but there are slight hints of underlying darkness scattered all over and point to a more interesting plot at work.

About the head writer of WandaVision Season 2:

According to THR, Jac Schaeffer, head writer of WandaVision, is not interested in confirming or refusing the show a second season. Rather, she stresses the value of reflecting on what is happening in the MCU right now.

She states it that’s exactly how, one thing at a time, things work at Marvel. Schaeffer adds that one season feels like a full story. In a way that they sound like their own comic, each of the MCU Disney+ shows, including WandaVision, has been made.

They will feel complete, Schaeffer explains, For these series, it was always the style that made them feel like a comic run. It feels very full in that sense. It’s an emotional completion in which I stand and feel amazing and have always been really baked in.

While, clearly, they are all going to be related within the wider MCU universe, each one will function separately. Although fans love WandaVision, it seems like a second season won’t be necessary. If Schaeffer is to be taken for her word, then for a second season there won’t even be an emotional urge, so it would all feel wrapped up and full.

Moreover, as the first of the MCU Disney + shows, WandaVision means that there will be more shows and characters to look forward to. For now, it appears like only what Schaeffer needs fans to concentrate on is watching the programme for what it is and the measures it creates for the MCU.
