Godzilla Vs Kong: Kong’s Axe Weapon & Powers Explained

Godzilla Vs Kong Updates: Kong wields an Axe that has a certain strength in the Godzilla vs. Kong trailer. After a long wait, the highly awaited trailer for the fourth Film of MonsterVerse was finally released by Legendary.

In numerous heated confrontations, the video shows the King of the Monsters and the King of Skull Island coming to blows. Since the American and Japanese pop culture icons battled in the King Kong vs. Godzilla of 1962, over 50 years have passed.

Then, Kong was the hero on whom the people of Japan relied to fight against Godzilla. The Godzilla vs. Kong trailer suggests that the two will again fill the same roles from their original battle for their next battle.

Godzilla is being painted as a threat to the universe, and this could be part of why he’s going to be on a collision course with Kong, who isn’t going to be unarmed in this fight.

About Godzilla Vs Kong Trailer:

Several moments depict Kong holding an Axe in the Godzilla vs. Kong trailer. The trailer doesn’t reveal how he’s got such a weapon in his hands, but because Kong has a reputation of being a tool-user, he seems likely to have fashioned it himself.

As for what it was made with, some looks at the Axe give the impression that it could have been built from Godzilla’s back spikes, such as the one shown at the 2:03 mark.

The form makes it look like Kong ripped them from his back and used them to make a deadly weapon. The end of the trailer for Godzilla vs. Kong, where the two charges each other, reveals that Kong can use the Axe to catch and block the atomic breath of Godzilla.

Not only is it impressive, but Kong’s chances of winning could be a big boost. The key to surviving could be to block it. It is still not clear, however, how it is capable of doing that, or why it was glowing blue before it was even blasted by Godzilla. This aspect of the Axe will remain a mystery for now.

It does seem that it is the best chance for Kong to overcome Godzilla and take the title of alpha for himself, regardless of where the Axe comes from. Kong will need it, especially because it may not be sufficient to hurt Godzilla with only his fists to bring him down.

However, with the hammer, he could penetrate the thick hide of his adversary and do some serious harm. When facing enemies who use wielded weapons, Godzilla has experienced setbacks in the past, so if this issue is repeated in Godzilla vs. Kong, it may be necessary for him to find a way to keep the Axe out of Kong’s hands. Otherwise, the King of the Monster’s mantle may be at risk.
