There are raunchy scenes in the film, but the storey of some heavy topics is treated in a funny manner, much much more than its title suggests.
It is the show to get a firm picture for all those high schoolers that delves into a lot of divisive things such as homophobia, gay-lesbian marriages, abortion, atheism, etc. that are considered taboo and there is a need to teach young people about these issues.

It is official that there is still another season coming. In Feb 2020, Netflix reported the storey. According to Deadline, the shooting of Sex Education Season 3 was about to begin in March 2020.
Like other TV programmes, web series, and movies, however, the third season of Sex Education endured a lockout delay in shooting.

On Feb 10, 2020, only a month after the season 2 opener, Netflix launched a Season 3 teaser. This pretty much tells how confident the show is with Netflix. The creators will delve further into the lives of characters in the upcoming season. This third season, as the previous two seasons, will most possibly have eight episodes as well. To find out more about the storyline and characters, we’re still waiting for the announcement and trailer. Yet we are confident that this time the storyline is going to be exciting too.
We were expecting the third season to arrive in January 2021, based on the release dates of the two previous seasons. It remains to be seen, though, with production being postponed by more than four months when the teen drama will arrive on Netflix.
As show producer Laurie Nunn told The Hollywood Reporter that she feels Sex Education could continue for many more seasons, viewers should rejoice.
