Godzilla Vs Kong Updates: The wait is over, the Godzilla vs Kong trailer is finally here, it is released a few hours ago. The trailer shows that there is an appearance of Mechagodzilla and also they have explained the origins of Mechagodzilla.
The trailer may tease the entry of Mechagodzilla in the up-coming MonsterVerse films. In 1974 the Japanese film named Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla was the Mechagodzilla that appeared for the first time, it is the 14th film in the Godzilla franchise.
In Legendary’s MonsterVerse franchise the fourth film, Godzilla vs Kong might have the Mechagodzilla return as Godzilla’s nemesis, and in the trailer, Godzilla is attacking the people it shows and explain the origin of Mechagodzilla.

Mechagodzilla yet to appear in the MonsterVerse as a rival of Godzilla, unlike the other rivals of Godzilla, Ghidora (Monster in Godzilla: King of the Monsters demolished by Godzilla) and now Kong.
If the Mechagodzilla could appear as a villain for both Godzilla and Kong to defeat together, it will be a crazy twist for the fans. As some fans hope that the filmmakers have confirmed that there will be only one winner in the fight between Kong and Godzilla.
We hope so that, Mechagodzilla is not used as a cop-out from the absolute defeat of both Godzilla and Kong, but it’s almost sure that Mechagodzilla will be in the Godzilla vs Kong film.
There is a shot in the trailer, it shows a brief glimpse of a monster that could be Mechagodzilla. In the trailer, we find a metallic-looking, Godzilla like kaiju destroying a city and appears to glow red, but the actual Godzilla of MonsterVerse glows blue.
The rumors have already started spreading that there is a possible appearance of Mechagodzilla in Godzilla vs Kong film.
It is originally written, Mechagodzilla is not an earth being, it is an extraterrestrial being. Godzilla like creature as synthetic kaiju is created by humans. On the same basis, there is a hint that shows the origin of MonsterVerse’s Mechagodzilla.
And in the trailer, we find that Ren Serizawa (Shun Oguri) is standing in front of a large digital screen displaying a schematic. On that screen, a text box is blocking half of the screen, but behind that box, we find an outline of Mechagodzilla which is clearly visible.
This hinted that Ren Serizawa son of Ishiro Serizawa (Ken Watanabe), could be the creator of Mechagodzilla of MonsterVerse, possibly in collaboration with Monarch.
Godzilla vs Kong will be the showdown of the century between Kong and Godzilla, along with that it doesn’t mean that there won’t be any turns and twists in the film.
Godzilla vs Kong should pay off the hype it’s built for the showdown between Kong and Godzilla or it will be a disappointment for the audience who are waiting for more than a year since its original release date to see the movie. But the appearance of Mechagodzilla will finally bring a MonsterVerse’s fan-favorite Godzilla villain.
