Ghostbusters Afterlife Updates: Ernie Hudson, who was in front of an audience as Winston Zeddemore in Ghostbuster, thinks the 2016 reboot sequel is a mistake of the franchise.

1984s film of Ghostbuster: Afterlife, casts, Hudson, along with Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, as the original Ghostbusters. The franchise of that time was pop culture sensation spawning comics, cartoons, and toys.

In the 2016 sequel, the original stars of Ghostbuster were not able to come back to the film. As Ramis’s death in 2014 and Murray’s refusal to join the franchise would incomplete the original Ghostbusters.

In replacement, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones were supposed to be acted as the original team of paranormal investigators. This film was not able to catch u[ the audience. This was not because of the fault in the storyline but the audience. A number of fans were not able to digest that it was a reboot, not a sequel.

According to the opinion of Hudson, it was a great misstep taken by the franchise. In his clarification about the movie, he said he enjoyed the movie, this version of ladies, “I actually liked it a lot”.

The major downfall of the story was calling it a reboot, not an extension or a sequel. The filmmakers have just retold the movie with different faces, this is where the audience did not find appropriate.

Murrays shares that Ghostbuster: Afterlife would definitely find a way to honor late Ramis. It is yet unclear that the sequel will be related to the reboot in the other universe (2016 film).

Fans have to wait and keep patience for this exciting part 3, with all old and new stars to hit the screens and entertain the audience.
