The Moodys Season: Star Chelsea Frei on chasing tough “decisions” and Hopes

The Moodys Season 2 Updates: The Moodys has become the holiday season’s treat, bringing all the cozy homely vibes.

The Season Finale will be aired on the 10th of Dec on FOX and we cannot wait for all the drama. In an interview, Chelsea Frei, playing Bridget on the show,  talks about what to expect in the final episodes.

A lot is going on for Bridget after she revealed that she cheated on her husband. While things are going not too well for the married couple, there’s an increasing intimacy between Bridget and her hometown friend Monty.

A lot of decisions need to be made and Chelsea wants her character to come back for season 2 and see where the journey goes.

What made you want to be a part of The Moodys?

Chelsea Frei: I fell in love with the script. I feel like I see myself in Bridget, but also the family dynamic in my family are so relatable to theirs. I’m from Boston. We are always screaming and yelling and making fun of each other.

With Bridget in particular, we are emotionally similar, and I think with her she just bottles up so much trying to seem as if she has her life together and she’s the perfect child

What was your experience of meeting and working with the other?

The Moody Season 2

Chelsea Frei: It was crazy because we were all kind of thrown into it really quickly. We started filming in September and we finished a month ago and now it’s on the air.

Usually, it takes years to see projects you’ve done. We knew that we had to build that family relationship really quickly. Luckily, we just bonded over silly stuff like Dunkin’ Donuts and Friendlies.

I think because of that there’s such this spirit of Boston and Boston families that we all connected with. And then with Jay and Francois, it was also just so easy. They’re the funniest, best people. I can’t even believe it we just met in September.

Would you want to come back for The Moodys Season 2?

Chelsea Frei: Definitely. I think there’s so much more to figure out with each of the characters, especially with Bridget. Her story just isn’t over. And the way they want to do it is to have it on different holidays which would be like a dream.
