Charmed Season 3: Production Update & Much More

Charmed Season 3 Update: Charmed is a reboot of the American Supernatural fantasy drama, Charmed on The WB Created by Constance M. Burge and produced by Aaron Spelling, Which got aired from 1998 to 2006.

The rebooted series is streaming on The CW and is developed by Jennie Synder Urman, Jessica O’ Toole, and Amy Rardin. The series is about three sisters, who after the death of their mother got to know that they are the charmed ones, as the good witches who have to save the innocents from demons and dark forces.

The sisters, Macy (Madeleine Mantock), Mel (Melonie Diaz), and Maggie (Sarah Jeffery) are having individually different magic powers and when come together are the power of three, most powerful.

In January 2020, the show was renewed for its 3^rd season but got delayed till January 24, 2021, to premiere due to delay in production due to the covid19 pandemic.

Update

As with The CW’s other series, the end of season 2 of charmed was not filmed prior to the lockdown in March 2020 due to the covid19 global pandemic and therefore was left on an uncertain note.

The CW has finally released the synopsis for “the inconvenient truth” as the premiere for season 3.

The makeshift finale “the unsafe space” witnessed the girls, Macy, Mel, and Maggie gearing up for the final battle against the faction and from the sound of things, which seems to be approaching with the premiere of season 3 of the series.

Season 2 of charmed witnessed many things.

From the status change of the sisters to become the new elders for the magic world, it was also revealed that they were thought to be dead in a house fire.

They moved to a “Safe place” in Seattle, which turned out to become anything but safe with Julian (Eric Balfour) shutting things down and affirming to Vivienne that he will go after the Charmed Ones.

Season 2 of the series also witnessed the establishment of a romantic relationship between Macy (Madeleine Mantock) and Harry (Rupert Evans) also the battle with the faction which also has things to do with the season 3 premieres.

The season premiere will see the lives of the charmed ones in jeopardy as the faction closes in.

Also, Macy and Harry trying and struggling to define their relationship developed.

The season 3 premiere debuts on The CW on Sunday, January 24^th, at 9 PM and will appear after new episodes of Batwoman.
