WandaVision Copying The Mandalorian Was Smart Because of Its Twists

WandaVision Updates: An upcoming American television miniseries, set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) sharing continuity with the films of the franchise, it ties into the latest film Avengers: Endgame.

Distributed by the streaming network of Disney+ and created by Jack Schaeffer and under the direction of Matt Shakman, this project was ordered early in April 2019 and reeled under the production phase later from that November, prior to the pandemic hit us with a major setback.

However, the filming was restored back in November 2020 and the release is right around the corner now as the first series in Phase Four of the MCU.

WandaVision will help set the storyboard for the succeeding screening of the MCU films Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (premiering March 2022), as is Spider-Man 3 earmarked to arrive on Dec. 17, as affirmed earlier by Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige and the other live-action projects at their disposal for a release.

Director Matt Shakman and MCU producer Kevin Feige both have not nudged the claims of The Mandalorian’s influence on WandaVision’s release schedule and Shakman spoke in response “Binging has its place, for sure, but there’s something about the mystery – especially for a show like WandaVision – where people can think about what they’ve watched and come up with their own theories and it builds anticipation” despite their highly nuanced narrative styles.
