Outlander Season 6 Update: Outlander is a historical drama television series pitched up from the eponymous novel series by Diana Gabaldon. A direction by Ronald D. Moore, the show premiered on August 9, 2014, on Starz. It revolves between a married former World War II nurse who in 1945 finds herself transported back to Scotland in 1743.

The first 16-episode coup was ordered after the first novel in the series, known as Cross Stitch while the second season of 13 episodes was issued on Dragonfly in Amber, aired from April to July 2016. Upon achieving favorable reviews, it is yet again renewed for a 12-episode sixth season based on A Breath of Snow and Ashes.

The story evolves as a British Army nurse After serving as in World War II, Claire Randall is on honeymoon in Scotland with her husband Frank, an MI6 officer looking forward to a new career as an Oxford historian. Out of nowhere, Claire is transported to the 18th century in  1743 and into a mysterious world where her freedom and life are threatened.

To outlive in the face of adversity, she marries Jamie Fraser, a sturdy, jacked  Scots warrior with an obscure past and ingratiating humor. The two share a good bond, and Claire is stuck in the middle of two lives completely out of sync with each other. `

In the final episode of the last season, Claire is abducted and raped by Lionel Brown and his men but is subsequently rescued by Jamie, Roger, and the earlier militia.

Though Jamie returns Lionel’s body to his brother and mayor of Brownsville, Richard Brown puts Fraser’s Ridge and Jamie’s family under threat.

The season ends with Claire and Jamie looking out from the porch, desperate to mitigate the chaos ahead that they are to fall into.

What do we know about the upcoming Season?

The mind-boggling cue that the author has declined to tease the explanation about Jamie’s ghost. So far all she gave away was the ghost’s identity is Jamie and he is 25 but tied the as to why he is watching Claire (Caitriona Balfe) at her hotel window in the 1940s.

In consequence of this, Outlander fans carved their own theories from whatever clues they can assort for Jamie’s ghost.

Several theories circulating online suggest there is a time loop or Jamie is connected to Claire from a previous life or Jamie has supernatural powers through which its ghost transcends time.
