Hightown Season 2 Updates: Cecil Butcher (Premature, skin), Barbara Weetman (Carter and June, Tammy), Crystal Lee Brown (The Good Lord Bird, Giants), Carlos Gomez ( The Baker and the Beauty, Law&Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders) are set for recurring roles on the season 2 of Hightown a Starz’s crime drama series, starring Monica Raymund, from Lionsgate Television and Jerry Bruckheimer.
The second season takes about 6 weeks after the events in the finale of the first season, around Halloween, in Cape Cod’s desolate, it is cold but still a very beautiful off-season.
The tourists went off, and all the characters of the series are in a different place compared to the place that they were at the starting of Season 1. The weak characters became powerful and the powerful characters became weak.
But there is a dark side to all of our main characters in the series, particularly Ray and jack. Both Ray and Jack have dark sides of their personality- holes in their souls and they are trying to fill that holes with alcohol, drugs, ambition, women, and work.
There is a new terror in The Cape, and it will be the greatest White Whale till now. Janelle’s role will be played by Brown. She is a very smart woman and no-nonsense, she is a physical therapist at a prison who acquires trust with her patients. After working with Osito, She develops a romantic relationship with him.
Hightown Season 2 Who’s Returning in Season 2?
Vernon’s role will be played by Blutcher. An artsy-emo, he is a sympathetic recovering addict. He is a misunderstood artist who helps a fellow prisoner in running a business out of their prison unit.
Rafael’s role will be played by Gomez. Father of Jackie (Raymund), past his prestige days but he always looks for a good time. Fascinated and charming with a dark side of him, he works as a fisherman in the town named New Bedford, MA. he has a tired and convoluted relationship with his daughter.
Callie’s role will be played by Weetman. Mother of Renee, an aging beauty, is rough around the edges, can be an ex-stripper herself. she is prejudiced and usually with a drink in her hand.
The relationship with her daughter is very transactional. The creator of this series is Rebecca Cutter, he also serves as an executive producer with Jerry Bruckheimer, KristieAnee Reed (Lucifer, L.A.’s Finest), and Littman (Lucifer, The Amazing Race, CSI franchise) from Jerry Bruckheimer TV.
Ellen H. Schwartz (Pretty Woman, Miss Congeniality) serves as an executive producer along with Gary Lennon (Power, Euphoria), who serves as an executive producer and writer.
