The last 10 episodes saw the death of the mighty Bjorn Ironside and the continuing Ivar the Boneless. Hvitserk’s personality saw actual evolution in season six when he came to the awareness he was fated to murder Ivar.

It approached down to the last moments of the series. Ivar realizes his demise would be at the hands of another. This will also continue in the sequel part of this series.
