For all the fans out there, the Latest season is dropping soon as Henry Cavill returns to the set after a minor injury, confirmed by Paul Bullion who will play the character of Lambert in the latest season. Henry suffered an injury to his hamstring in December while he was performing a stunt involving a harness that lifted him 20 feet high in the air resulting in an injury.
The Witcher Season 2 is currently filming in the United Kingdom. The series filming encounters many delays and interruptions due to the pandemic and the series leads Henry Cavill to suffer a minor injury. Despite that production is expected to conclude in March 2021
As per the sources, Season 2 will picture the events and characters of Andrzej Sapkowski’s, ‘ Blood of Elves’, which will show Ciri training at Kaer Morhen under the supervision of Geralt of Rivia and his fellow companions. Also, Netflix Queue recently discloses a page of script with a caption, ‘ Where will Witcher take us this season?’, which reads a merchant name Colin Coppercloth and his family being attacked by an unnatural being as they seek shelter. Geralt of Rivia is portraying the whole sequence of events, Questioning the anonymous rival, ‘I was meant to end up alone, wasn’t I?’ he wails, ‘So I would finally begin to be afraid?’
Even though no official release date for Season 2 has been announced yet, it can be assumed that the premiere of Season 2 will now likely occur in fall 2021 rather than the initial expected release in August.
