Teen Mom OG Season 9 Update: Ryan Edwards is not about to win any father of the year awards with his son by Maci Book out, between addiction issues, serving prison time and being filmed mocking 12-year-old son Bentley’s feelings on Teen Mom OG.

But, although famous Maci’s beautiful husband Taylor McKinney has been in the active good role as a lovely parent to Bentley since their nuptials in Oct. 2016, the MTV star is determined that her eldest child forges a healthier relationship with his biological dad. In Teen Mom OG’s season nine trailer, Maci is all about Bentley and Ryan going to therapy together to strengthen their father-son relationship.

Maci is seen asking her son if he “still wants to go to therapy” in the promotion for the coming season, which premieres on MTV on Jan. 26, 2021, as Bentley looks at his mom with a concerned expression on his face.

Next, apparently on the way to an appointment, they are seen in the car, giving each other supportive fist bumps. MTV notes in the accompanying press release that Maci “puts aside her personal feelings to support Bentley by taking the necessary steps to repair his relationship with his dad, famous popular Ryan.”

At the time, he’s almost a (younger) teenager, but his beautiful emotional kind needs are particularly pointed out. Plus, since he was born, he’s basically been able to watch his mom and dad play the drama on TV. At 16, Maci got pregnant with Bentley when she and Ryan were sweethearts in high school.

When she appeared on MTV’s then-groundbreaking 16 and Pregnant reality series, the 29-year-old first became popular. Maci has been a cast on Teen Mom OG since then, who has reached the 9th season.

Since Oct. 2016 Maci is married to Taylor McKinney’s husband and has two children, five-year-old Jayde’s daughter, and four-year-old Maverik’s son. In 2017, shortly before Ryan was entering rehab, Ryan married Mackenzie Standifer. The couple has two young kids, Jagger Son born in 2018, and Stella Baby, 11 months old.

Unfortunately, Ryan saw Teen Mom OG teasing poor Bentley in May 2020, who cried after his first friend broke up. He was seen talking to Mackenzie, and said, “I feel like he’ll be one of those guys, who’s crying for something in boohoos,” then added, “I feel like he will be one of those guys, who just have chicks rupturing with him for the fun of a show.”
