Masterchef Junior has some new tricks up its sleeves

Masterchef Junior Update: The long-running series gives talented kids between the ages of 8 and 13 the chance to showcase their culinary abilities and passion for food through a series of delicious challenges while competing against other kids. Though the contestants may seem young and inexperienced, they are definitely something to look forward to.

The competition is tough and the kids bring their own flavor and culture to the show and it is a beautiful thing to witness. They start off in the show, naive and inexperienced, as most of them have only cooked in the safety of their homes before.

Now they have to put on their aprons on the big stage and present their dishes to three culinary geniuses and one Gordan Ramsey, who is notorious for being rather candid with his opinions. Make no mistake, this is not an easy task to accomplish.

The pint-sized contestants will cook a meal for diners at a historical renaissance fair, and we will also see the kids cook a meal amongst monster trucks and motocross bikes on the track. They will also face off with Tilly Ramsay as she returns to the MasterChef kitchen for a doughnut challenge. For the wrestling fanatics, a WWE themed episode is also to be included this season.

Masterchef Junior is definitely a must-watch for any culinary enthusiast or anybody who would like to pick up an apron someday. Or kids! Proving to be a mouth-watering family entertainer. The contestants are nurtured throughout the series and, their skills, knowledge, and technique, and style evolve and are ever-transforming.

Nutrition expert and author Daphne is taking over for Christina Tosi as the third judge in season 8. By the end of the season, one talented kid will be named America’s newest MasterChef Junior, taking home the MasterChef Junior trophy and $100,000 grand prize.
