Legacies Season 3 Update: Fans are no longer waiting for the imminent return of the magical series that was spun off from ‘The Originals’ with the third season of ‘Legacies’ on The CW right around the corner, which was spun off from ‘The Vampire Diaries’ in turn, keeping Julie Plec working for more than a decade on the same network.

Matthew Davis
Since he starred in early 2000s hits such as ‘Legally Blonde’ and ‘Silver Crash’, actor Matthew Davis has been winning hearts. In the first season of ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ he first began playing Alaric Saltzman, way back in 2009.
He continued to play the character until the conclusion of the show in 2017, and in ‘The Originals’ he also played the same way. He continues to be the good luck charm of Julie Plec as he plays Alaric in ‘Legacies’.
The show also stars Jenny Boyd as Josie’s niece, Lizzie Saltzman, Milton “MG” Greasley as Quincy Fouse, Rafael Waithe as Peyton Alex Smith, and Kaleb as Chris Lee.
