He looks for the neighborhood he once ruled and now he has to make up with the Genovese crime family to regain his control. He soon indulges in a brutal battle with the mobs forming an alliance with preacher Malcolm X.

The reports from Deadline suggest that the character of Betty Shabazz will be portrayed by grace porter. Grace porter is a recent alumnus of NYU’s Tisch Graduate School Of Acting.

Betty Shabazz is the wife of Malcolm X in the series. Porter has even played roles in the NYU’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and Fox’s Prodigal Son.

The role to be portrayed is an important one as it seems that Malcolm’s X wife Betty Shabazz will have an important role to play in season 2. Grace porter is a new age actress and it is expected that she will make series worth watching.
