The Suicide Squad 2 is an upcoming American superhero movie written and directed by James Gunn, who is best known for directing Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy movie. He then was brought in to write the suicide squad in late 2018, later was directing it as well.
The movie will be produced by DC films, Atlas Entertainment and the Safran Company also set for distribution by Warner Bros.
It is the sequel to the 2016, suicide squad movie which failed to impress fans and critics. Therefore this time with a new approach it is going to hit the big screens.
The film stars Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, John Cena, Joel Kinnaman, Peter Capaldi, Sylvester Stallone, and Viola Davis.
Since the director hinted at the completion of the movie, various anticipations have already been running out in the minds of the impatient fans about Gunns’ R-Rated take on the suicide squad and how it will be different from the 2016 movie.

Only with the retaining of few characters from the 2016 movie, the sequel will be separate and more interesting from the 2016 suicide squad movie.

With the fans becoming more impatient, Gunn took the help from social media (Twitter) to give information as he says that the movie is just a hair-breadth away from its completion.
As it completed its production in 2020 and is working on post-production things.
The suicide squad as avoided production delays and rescheduling, it is confirmed that it is one of the few DC films that emerged unscathed from the current ongoing coronavirus global pandemic.
But as Warner Bros plan 2021, it will be released digitally on HBO Max as well along with theatres.
