Hawkeye Star Hailee Steinfeld: “If There’s Anyone to Trust, It’s Marvel”

Hawkeye Updates: Hawkeye is an upcoming American miniseries created by Jonathan Igla for streaming on Disney+. Hawkeye (Clint Barton) is a fictional superhero character in American comic books published by Marvel comics.

Jeremy Renner plays the character for MCU and will be seen alongside many new characters in the upcoming series.

It is only December last year that Singer Hailee Steinfeld’s character as Kate Bishop has been made official by Kevin Feige at Disney Investor day.

In her previous interviews, Hailee expressed her excitement of being part of the MCU universe and also how quarantine helped her to keep her role a secret, it was only after leaked photographs of her with Jeremy Runner at the subway station, and her links to the upcoming series was anticipated.

At her new interview with the Collider, she said that she is totally honored to be a part of the MCU universe and playing Kate Bishop.

She expressed how developing the character of kate bishop and taking elements about her from the comics after knowing much of her history has been.

She said she is very much excited about playing a character much like Emily (Dickinson), that is been loved and praised by many people.

She said that she trusts MCU implicitly ably and if there is anyone to trust, it’s got to be MCU.

After being asked about her signing on the series that could require potential time commitments in the future, as not only this series but upcoming series and films featuring Hawkeye and her character could demand her she answered that it was never into her mind and also if it comes to that she would be happy to join and why not, after all, it is MCU.

She said that she can do singing anywhere as it is her passion but yeah, along with acting it is more challenging but she was thankful and positive about her pursuing both singing and acting together in near future.

Alongside Jeremy Renner, Florence Pugh, reprising her role from the upcoming Black Widow movie, plus The Conjuring and Bates Motel star Vera Farmiga was as Kate Bishop’s mom, Eleanor Bishop would be joining as the cast for the series.

In addition, the cast includes Fra Fee as Kazi, short for Kazimierz Kazimierczak, the Marvel Comics character otherwise known as Clown; Tony Dalton as Duquesne, a character whose alter ego in Marvel Comics is Swordsman; with newcomer Alaqua Cox taking on the role of Maya Lopez, the real name of Echo, a deaf Native America character whose abilities include mimicking the movements of another person; and Zahn McClarnon as her father William Lopez, a character also known as Willie “Crazy Horse” Lincoln in comics.

With no release date so far, Hawkeye is expected to hit in the fall of 2021.
