Jared Leto Compares His Joker To His The Little Things Character In One Specific Way

Jared Leto: Years after playing The Joker in the Suicide Squad, Jared Leto could not escape the character. This has persisted, even though it markets the upcoming thriller The Little Stuff.

But Leto was obliging interviewers to equate the DC supervillain to his enigmatic character in the new film. He also talks of the parallels between the two characters.

But the recipient of the Oscar has found one particular aspect in which his Joker performance and The Little Stuff character are strikingly similar.

To claim that Jared Leto’s depiction of The Joker in Suicide Squad was controversial may have been an understatement. He also likened the alleged murderer Albert Sparma to The Joker in The Little Things.

The recipient of the Oscar recently commented about a particular similarity to the Variety Award Circuit Podcast. There are very really few characters you play who have literally no rules, you know, you should just go to the city.

What Jared Lato has to say about the Character?

Sparma reminds me a little bit of that character [the Joker] as well, so he’s only a little out of the box. He’s someone who says what he knows, literally. And he’s always surprising. He’s so playful. And I found him pretty funny, really. He may be a nice guy or a bad guy, but he’s a funny guy.

Jared Leto’s depiction of Sparma in The Little Things painted a person without borders or boundaries. It’s easy to see where Joker’s parallels are coming from, given how the actor’s portrayal was off-the-wall.

In the case of The Little Things, the actor is Albert Sparma, who may or may not be the serial murderer that the local sheriff and LA detective (played by fellow Oscar winners Denzel Washington and Rami Malek, respectively) are looking for. The movie also features Natalie Morales, Terry Kinney, and Chris Bauer.

Since the announcement of The Little Stuff, Jared Leto has lined up a series of projects. It’s going to be the title of Sony Pictures’ Morbius, which will be announced on March 19.

He is set to star in the biopic Gucci with Lady Gaga, Robert De Niro, and Adam Driver along with the next Tron installment. He’s also linked to the Andy Warhol biopic and is currently appearing in the Zack Snyder Justice League.

Apparently, he’s dreaming about getting his TV come back with the AppleTV+ sequence WeCrashed. Jared Leto’s contrast of characters revealed his love for the Crown Prince of Crime still lasting even after a catastrophic reception. For more updates stay tuned.
