Legacies Season 3 Updates: The CW posted a series of new images, Legacies Episode 1, from Season 3, showing the day’s events and something much more ominous.
A handful of pictures from the forthcoming Season 3 premiere of Legacies, which airs on Jan 21, have been shared by the CW.
Shared online, the photos show numerous students engaging in field day events such as baseball, flag football, and an obstacle course at the Salvatore Boarding School for the Young & Talented.
Other pictures reveal Headmaster Alaric Saltzman (Matthew Davis) arguing with the school’s Alpha werewolf Raphael Waithe (Peyton Alex Smith), as well as his own daughter Lizzie Saltzman (Jenny Boyd).
Alaric is caught in a more ominous picture in the middle of a battle with the monster Necromancer. Meanwhile, another picture reveals the daughters of Alaric—twins Lizzie and Josie—with vampire Milton Greasley emerging during the episode to meet another dark being. For the 3rd Season, Episode 1, “We’re Not Worthy,” the official synopsis reads:
Legacies Season 3 Let the Fames Begin
Alaric (Davis) takes the students off-campus for their first-ever field day to get a handle on some emergencies at the farm. But the students are left trying to guess which one of them could be a worthy adversary when a medieval beast appears with a challenge.
Just a day after multiple Legacies cast members unveiled their favorite monsters from Season 2 of the show, the latest photos from the Season 3 premiere were released.
In the clip, actor Danielle Rose Russell (Hope Mikaelson) said that her favorite monster was the Sphinx, noting, “It’s all the others characters, don’t you know, he made all the other characters think so?” and she added, “To me, that was really nice”.
Season 2 Legacies ended in a cursed sleep with the protagonist Hope Mikaelson. Meanwhile, after being shot with the golden arrow by the best friend Raphael, Phoenix Landon was seen struggling for his life.
A promo unveiled in December 2020 from seasons 3 also revealed that the new season of Legacies is going to start where Season 2 has gone, with Alaric trying to develop a Hope wake-up program, and Rafael trying to get things in his hands by offering the spirit of Landon to be transferred into his own body.
Leo Howard, who played Ethan at the end of the second season, will be back with a regular series, together with Ben Levin, which portrays the former alpha werewolf, Jed. The return of Legacies is also shown.
Legacy stars Danielle Rose Russell, Jenny Boyd, Kaylee Bryant, Quincy Fouse, Aria Shahghasemi, Peyton Alex Smith, Matt Davis, Chris Lee, Ben Levin, and Leo Howard. Legacies Season 3 is being premiered at 9 p.m. on 21 January. The CW’s ET/PT.
