Legacies Season 3 Update: An American fantasy drama television series, it is being conceptualized as a spin-off to the Originals alongside the predecessor to the small-screen hit the Vampire Diaries, thus listing characters crossovers from both the shows.
Created by Julie Plec, this is a premiere extension to the supernatural high school series franchise on the native network of the CW which has scored moderately high ratings.
Taking to screen on October 25, 2018, it went into the second chapter on October 10, 2019, shortly after which the series was renewed for the third time on January 2020.

Legacies are centered around Hope Mikaelson who was introduced in the final run of the Originals, the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall, who boasts of the most powerful vampire, werewolf, and witch in her parentage.
Two years in succession to The Originals, 17-year-old Hope attends the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. The school provides a haven where supernatural beings can learn to put their abilities and impulses in check.
The finale episode left off on a strange note with both Hope and Landon’s fate hanging in the balance. With the stretch of the last season being snipped at for the pandemic, it showed Hope not waking up after rescuing Josie from her own dark subconscious, whereas Landon was stabbed with the infamous golden arrow.

While Alaric commits himself towards the unfolding Hope-Landon crisis in the premiere, MG takes the lead of his fellow Stallions in their first-ever field day.
The saga is going to have its comeback with the cast of Danielle Rose Russell as Hope Mikaelson, Aria Shahghasemi as Landon Kirby, Jenny Boyd as Lizzie Saltzman, Quincy Fouse as Milton “MG” Greasley, Chris Lee as Kaleb Hawkins, Peyton Alex Smith as Rafael Waithe, Kaylee Bryant as Josie Saltzman and Matt Davis as Alaric Saltzman and Ben Levin (Jed) and Leo Howard (Ethan) also appearing in the series regulars, kicking off with this one.
