Game of Thrones Update: Game of Thrones is considered the world’s most-watched and blockbuster series of this time.

It is an American fantasy drama series which is adapted from George R. R. Martin’s, series of fantasy novels titled “A Song of Ice and Fire” and is created by David Benioff and D.B Weiss for HBO entertainment network.

The series consists of 8 series based on fictional seven kingdoms of Westeros and Essos, where noble dynasties are either claiming the Iron throne or fighting for their independence from it.

With such an ensemble cast and crew, the series is estimated of having the largest cast on television.

Recently with an Interview with EW, Sean Bean cast as Lord Eddard Stark, the head of House stark recalls the moment of disbelief and disgust when his character died in the first season.

Game of Thrones: Update

In the first season of game of thrones, and in its last episode titled under “Baelor” where Ned Stark was beheaded.

Ned stark was beheaded after king Joffery ordered Ser Ilyn Payne (Wilko Johnson), a mute knight who served as royal executioner to King Joffrey, and his words were “Sir Ilyn, bring me his head” after Ned confessed his treason against the crown.

As Ned Stark was trying to prove the illegitimate claim to the Iron thrown and it was obvious for a character like Joffery to betray him even after he confessed to what he said to spare his life.

It was lord Ned Stark’s honesty and loyalty that he refused the offer at first but when he was brought to the King’s landing mob, he looked at his two daughters Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), it was when he decided to go with the deal but later on, got betrayed and beheaded to his death.

Joffery’s brutal decision and ignoring his mother’s counsel shocked everybody out there.

Before getting Beheaded, Ned whispered something which fans have various theories formed but According to the book “fire cannot kill a dragon” he did pray at the time of his death.

With all these HBO has just improved Martin’s work.

Sean Bean recalls that he has to film the whole day keeping in mind that his character is going to die.

And along with other actors he too has mixed emotions that, it is Ned’s death Horror and disbelief of such consequences that led to other events happening in the series from Red to Purple wedding.
