Sesame Street: Know What Sesame Workshop Told About Noor And Aziz

Sesame Workshop, which is a non-profit organization, described the twins as “Noor and Aziz are at the heart of our efforts to bring early education to children and caregivers.” Further, it was added, “for most Rohingya children, Noor and Aziz will be very first characters in media who look and sound like them, they will bring the transformative power of playful learning to families at a time when it’s needed more than ever before.”

The refugee children live in camps in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. The children came to Bangladesh in 2017 from Myanmar. The rising cases of coronavirus and nationwide lockdown prevented the adults from making the ends meet which is why child marriages and child trafficking were rising in the place.

The Muppets are to support such children so that they can get early education which can save them from being a witness to such dangerous acts and crimes.
