In winter television critics association press tour (2019) the co-creator of the series Robert King describe season 2 saying “what we wanted to avoid, the X Files certainly, what the supernatural is or flying saucers are, so it’s a little vaguer. I would say the shows we had seen, we just wanted to be a little grittier about it and just show it’s a Little Flannery O’Connor, a little Graham Greene, a little bit more these are not issues that are easy. They are actually hard.”

Season 1 of the series was fascinating and was enough to tell that season 2 is awaiting its release. The release date for season 2 is not confirmed and will pick up the story from the finale of season 1 itself.

Release Date And Much More

The production, like any other film or series industry, was at a halt due to the ongoing pandemic. The filming was to be done in New York, which was impossible because of the pandemic and lockdown. The shutdown of the production made the series to delay its potential date for release.

From an Instagram story by Katjia Herbers, it was announced that the production has finally begun on October 19. The potential release date is yet to be announced by the officials. But we can expect its season 2 sometime in 2021.

We expect season 2 to be more EVIL than the previous ones.
