The storyboard rests on a world where humanity lives inside cities caved by enormous walls due to the Titans, gigantic beings gorging on humans.

It navigates the adventures of Eren Jaeger, his friends Mikasa and Armin, whose lives are changed forever after a Colossal Titan whammed down the barrier of their home town and all the human lives are put under threat.

During the carnage that ensues, Jaeger witnesses them preying on his mother which strikes an undying thirst for revenge and to reclaim the world from the Titans, Eren and his group join the Scout Regiment.

As of yet, the fourth season which is titled Attack on Titans: The Final Season is on its course with the next upcoming being episode 5 scheduled to air on Jan 10, 2021, instead of Jan 3.

The only other certainty is that Attack On Titan: The Final Season is currently listed as having 16 episodes by the Blu-Ray/DVD page on the official website as licensed by the network.

In accordance with the routine, the season’s finale, Episode 16 surges in on March 29, 2021.

The number of episodes was already leaked months ago by the anime fanatics, but the confirmed figure has proven to be a  disappointment to some anime fans.

What is of major concern is if it is the ultimate pulling the plug on the story or there would be a season 4 part 2 or a feature film.

For now, both are the prospects; creators might not have earmarked how to condense the storyline but given its numerous investors and the manga being a little away from the ending, a season 5 is possible.
