Riverdale Season 5 Updates: An American teen drama television series taken off from Archie Comics, this adaptation is heralded as one of the shows with the most popular viewership among young adults and teens.

Produced by Warner Bros Television and CBS Studios in association with  Archie Comics, it was originally conceived as a feature film adaptation and later was re-imagined as a television series.

In 2015, The CW undertook the project and ordered a pilot which was broadcasted on Jan 26, 2017, and has been restored multiple times with the fifth one coming up on Jan 20, 2021.

References include when one of the little Easter Eggs saw a character swiftly moving from Baxter High to a very familiar nearby school.

The newcomer in the cast was Lucas Hunt( Played by Ben Ahlers) who started off in Baxter High School to join the school’s swimming team and where he hit off well with the titular character, Sabrina; sparking off an instant connection.

However, the mystical experiences might have scared him off as he decided on moving to Riverdale High and since then fans have been curious as to what caused his speedy departure from the show and if that called for his character listing in Riverdale.

The two dramas have intersected many times where jocks from Riverdale turning up in Greendale and Ben Button appeared as a pizza delivery boy in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Although Ben Ahlers IMDb page doesn’t state anything about his joining the Riverdale family as he is currently invested in some other project but the writers might have some bigger plans in sight of a genre switch in the future.
