The season promo is already out. It gives us a peek at the coming all-new catastrophe, and it’s not about the pandemic of the coronavirus. A mudslide is here, knocking down the famous Hollywood sign. For our first responders, what could this mean? We know a bit of what is to come, too.

The future is set in a pandemic, but with the pandemic unfolding, we’re not going to pick up. Months back, the show picks up, but Hen, Buck, and the others have already been to the height of the problem. Instead, we’re going to have to see them as we are right now, dealing in masks every day and finding out how to really get on with life with the new normal.

There will be an episode of Buck Returns, looking at the inspiration for Buck to become a firefighter. During the series opener, Buck was the new team member, but we never got to know his real motives, as we did with Chimney, Hen.
