This series story was written by Eugene Ashe. A saxophonist named Robert Halloway met Sylvie Parker at her father’s record store in Harlem in 1950. After meeting both of them fall into a romantic relationship. The audience was waiting to watch this series.

The story of this series was mainly focused on the character banes Sylvie, this character was played by the actress named Tessa Thompson she was a young woman who works her father’s record shop.

She was having a to become a TV executive and a musician named Robert this character was played by Nnamdi Asomugha, he takes a part-time job in 1957. The story of both of them was fulfilled with ups and downs.

This story is about black people’s love story so they have to select black people to act as the main leads. Ashe was beautifully signifying every song. It has so melodious songs. The pieces of music were written by Fabrice LeComte he gives excellent songs to the audience.

Both the lead roles were giving an excellent performance in this series. Their acting in romantic is like a fantasy. Sylvie faced some difficulties in the TV shows because of her color The story is following up on their dreams.

After all the difficulties which they were faced in the end, it will have a satisfactory conclusion. This film is dedicated to the three icons namely Carroll, Nancy Wilson, and Doris Day they were all died in the same year.

They were some of the supporting characters we can see in this series is Lance Reddick who was played the role of Sylvie’s father, Eva Longoria, Wendy McLendon-Covey, Aja Naomi King, Erica Gimbel who was playing a role in this series. The audience was waiting to watch this series with high expectations and curiosity. There is no doubt this series will get success and give entertainment to the audience.
