Ali Larter responds to Leonard Roberts’ accusation at the later blames On-set tension

Ali Larter: The American actress Ali Larter apologized to Leonard Roberts, her former ‘Heroes’ co-star in response to his accusations on Ali as he blamed on-set tension for his exit from the show.

Black actor Leonard Roberts recently shared an emotional and very personal essay about his experience from his past show Heroes.

He talked about his experience as a cast member during the filming of the first season of Heroes in 2006 and also claims that his on-set tension with co-star Ali Larter was the primary reason behind his exit from the show. He accused Ali of being uncooperative during the shoot and Ali believed that he was “tarnishing her brand” as per Leonard.

In the essay which was published on 16 December, he talked about his experience working with the 44-year-old actress Ali, showrunner Tim Kring, and executive producer Dennis Hammer as he believes that these experiences were the prime cause for his dismissal from the show.

Leonard recalled an instance during the shoot of a private bedroom scene. He described the incident as the scene was quite intimate and during the private rehearsal of the scene when director Greg Beeman asked his co-star if she would lower her strap of the top she was wearing in order to show her bare shoulder under the sheet as it would have been a visual impression of her being undressed as Leonard was also shirtless.

But she denied Beeman’s request and also asked for a meeting with Beeman and the executive producers of the show because she felt disrespected as an actress, a woman, and a human. Leonard also claimed that the meeting was intense and loud and her co-star never gave a thought to involve him in the conversation as he would have happily participated.

He also recalled another incident with Ali which gave him an impression that Ali thinks he is tarnishing her brand. The encounter between them in NBC 2007-2008 season upfronts in New York, where a series of cast covers based on characters and their relationships were released.

He said, Upon arriving backstage at Radio City Music Hall for a rehearsal, I caught my co-star’s eye. ‘I’m hearing our cover is selling the least of all of them,’ she told me and It was the first and only thing she said to me that night and I believed the subtext was clear: I was tarnishing her brand,” in the interview.

He has also claimed in the essay that as soon as they were back in L.A. from the season upfront, he received a voice mail from Kring which said that due to Ali’s situation, the audience will be witnessing D.L.’s death during the return of season 2 and he also asked him to feel free to call him. A meeting was planned between Leonard and Kring which were also joined by Hammer.
