Pieces of A Woman: Netflix recently removed Shia Labeuof from the upcoming film

Pieces of A Woman Update: As recently noticed by Indiewire that Netflix has removed Shia Labeuof from its For Your Consideration Page for the upcoming film Pieces of a Woman. The decision to remove him has more likely to do with the lawsuit filed earlier in this month by KFA Twigs where she accused him of sexual assault, battery and sufferage of emotional distress during the times when they were together in a relationship.

The description of the upcoming film Pieces of a Woman shows the character of Martha which is played by Vanessa Kirby but doesn’t acknowledge that the role of her partner is played by Labeuof.

The FYC page has also excluded him from the category of best actor or supporting actor. A source familiar to the Shia told the Indiewire that Shia was not expected to be included in the awards campaign because of the lawsuit.

In response to the allegations of the lawsuit, Labeouf said he is currently going through a therapy and a ‘sober member’ of the 12-step program, and then he said, ‘ I’m not in a position to tell anyone how my behavior made them feel, I feel I have no excuses for alcoholism and aggression, only rationalizations.

I have been abusive to myself and to the people around me for years. I have the history of hurting the people closest to me. I am ashamed of that history and sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say. ‘

The movie Pieces of A Woman is set to premiere on January 7, 2021.
