Legacies Season 3: Release Date & Possible Plot

Legacies Season 3 Updates: The American fantasy drama television series Legacies has already been renewed and is all set to premiere its third season on January 21, 2021, which means more monsters and the new devilish monster will be making entry to the Salvatore School this season.

 

TVLine has recently released an exclusive first look from the Legacies season 3. So if you thought that there won’t be any recreational sports activities in the Salvatore school amid the risks on student’s lives, then these first look pictures would definitely prove you wrong.

When will Legacies Season 3 Release?

 

 

 

Talking about the series, it first premiered on October 25, 2018, while the second season premiered on October 10, 2019, on The CW Networks.

The storyline basically revolves around the character of Hope Mikaelson, the daughter of Klaus and Hayley and she has been dropped by some of the most powerful and devilish vampire and witch bloodlines. The story unfolds as 17-year-old Hope visits the Salvatore School for Young and Gifted after two years of the incident. The school becomes the center of place for supernatural beings to learn to control their abilities and impulses.

The second season ended with a cliffhanger as the fate of Hope and Landon remained uncertain. Both of them were unable to wake up despite the death of Dark Josie. So it’s very difficult to predict what’s going to happen in the third season with Hope and Landon being possibly dead.

Legacies Season 3: Cast

The series stars Danielle Rose Russell (Hope Mikaelson), Aria Shahghasemi (Landon Kirby), Kaylee Bryant(Josie Saltzman), Jenny Boyd(Lizzie Saltzman),  Peyton Alex Smith(Rafael Waithe), and Quincy Fouse as Milton “MG” Greasley. But keeping the previous season’s cliffhanger during the climax in mind, it would be difficult to predict who would be returning in season 3.

The CW Networks has also released the official trailer for season 3. The mystery will be soon unveiling as what happened in the Salvatore school if Hope and Landon are gone. Check out the official trailer of Legacies Season 3 below:

Legacies Season 3 would be releasing on January 21, 2021, at 9 pm ET to its usual Thursday night slot. The official IG handle CW legacies confirmed the same and wrote “See you in Mystic Falls. Season 3 premieres Thursday, January 21 on  The CW! #Legacies” in the caption.
